Medication & Supply Warehouse Coordinator
Landmark, Manitoba (approximately 30 minutes East of Winnipeg)
The incumbent is responsible to prepare and package all medication and supply orders for MLAF plants and hog operations, order and receive products into the warehouse based on inventory requirements, as well as process and maintain the period end inventory cut-offs. The incumbent will have an understanding of inventory management required to support the department.
This position is responsible for maintaining optimal inventory stocking levels in the warehouse, sourcing products and supplies, and package and ships the supplies to our farms. Responsibilities also include direct/monitor contracted delivery driver to farms, receives and inspects all incoming packaged materials and enters all received materials into the inventory control system. Maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment is essential. In addition, the incumbent will perform period end inventory cut off and reconciliation as required, investigate and correct inventory and pricing variances, and work closely with the Logistics Coordinator at the Feed Mills that are receiving/processing shipping orders.
Preference will be given to individuals who are APICS trained or certified (The Association for Operations Management), as well as experience in SAP and MRP. The incumbent will have two years of related experience in inventory management and be physically able to lift 55 pounds. He/She will possess strong analytical, organizational and problem solving skills as well as the ability to communicate (written and oral) and work efficiently with all operations. Along with the ability to work under pressure and handle several complex tasks simultaneously, the successful candidate must possess excellent computer skills and knowledge of MS Excel and Database Management. He/She will have the ability to live and teach our Maple Leaf Leadership Values.
