Transportation Logistics
This team is responsible for administering and managing grain sale and purchase contracts and related logistics. Coordinators interact with commodity merchants, hedge desk and accountants to ensure that commodity purchase/ sale positions are constantly updated and in balance, and to analyze freight arbitrage opportunities. Together with the rail, truck and marine team, Coordinators ensure product is moved in a timely manner to meet contractual requirements, perform reporting to US and Canada Customs for trans-border moves, invoice customers for domestic grain sales, and manage associated accounting activities.
The ideal candidate should have a post secondary degree and 2 to 5 years experience in a transportation role, proven communication and organizational skills, and a strong focus on accuracy and detail. Grain industry knowledge will be considered a strong asset.
