Reporting to the Supervisor, Business Systems Support, this position will be part of the team responsible for supporting MacDon’s Business Systems. This position offers a wide range of challenges for the successful candidate, including end user support for a diverse array of web based technology.

Qualifications: Related University or College Diploma, or internship; prior experience as a Webmaster using Microsoft and Oracle Technologies is an asset; prior experience supporting a diverse group of users of a dynamic interactive secure web site is required; excellent communication skills are required, oral and written; proficient in Windows and Microsoft Office 2003/2007 including Visio is required; strong aptitude in problem solving along with lots of patience and a good customer service attitude is required; ability to learn new business processes and complex software quickly is required; prior experience troubleshooting web site issues is required; a programming background is a definite asset; experience with PL/SQL is an asset.

Responsibilities: experience with PL/SQL is an asset; responsible for all aspects of the MacDon Dealer Portal; provides first level support to end users of the MacDon Dealer Portal; works with user departments of MacDon to keep the Dealer Portal current; maintains the MacDon Address Book consisting of Dealers, Customers and other users; maintains the online functional programs deployed on the Dealer Portal; researches new functionality required to expand and enhance the MacDon Dealer Portal and creates design specifications and test plans; works with other IT professionals to create, test, deploy and maintain new functionality; provides face to face and internet based training in the use of the MacDon Dealer Portal to various groups; provide support to the MacDon Corporate Public Website; provide support to the Internal MacDon Website.
